A Must Try!!!

If you ask any of my friends and family what my favorite food is, they’ll tell you how much I love Mexican food. My favorite restaurant to go to is Cancun in Berkeley. They have everything your typical taqueria would have. My personal favorite is their Shrimp Quesadillia’s. They have great atmosphere and their staff is pretty friendly. I encourage anyone who loves fresh Mexican food to try this place out. And while your there don’t forget to sample there salsa bar with a variety of 40 different salsa.

Creepy in Tiara’s

Has anyone else seen the show Toddlers & Tiara’s on TLC? Well if you haven’t your in luck because the show is actually pretty annoying, not to mention a little creepy.

The debate has been going on forever, with people trying to figure out if these pageants are morally wrong and if they could possibly be damaging to these little girls (and sometimes boy’s) self-esteem. Me personally, I don’t see the importance of these pageants, except for the fact that the mothers can live vicariously through there kids.

Hipster Symptoms

-You smoke ciggies but you still recycle.

-You’re constantly putting air into the tire of your fixed gear bike.

-You sympathize with the character Antonio Ricci from the old film Bicycle Thieves.

-Your messenger bag strap broke so in the meantime you’re using silver duct tape.

-Your black skinny jeans ripped on the side, but it’s cool they were only $3 at Goodwill. (but if you’re a fake then this would really piss you off because there a little more than $3)

-Man-scaping is not in your vocabulary, and you probably haven’t heard of it until now.

-Summer is your favorite season just because of all the free outdoor concerts.

-Plaid and flannel are one .

-You and your best friends discuss life A LOT!

-Anything that has to with art, music, film, photography…your down with it!

Just like diamonds, crisp white tee’s, and neon nail polish, Red will never go out of style, (kidding about that neon polish thing).

It’s the ultimate color that could bring confidence to the most shy person around. In fashion, it’s almost always used as the statement piece. Take Valentino for example, he as his own signature red, Valentino Red. Red is so influential that Bono, uses the color as part of his foundation. Whether it’s used as bold statement or for just a splash, Red is a icon in tis own right.

Always on Point!

Gorgeous actress Kerry Washington gets my vote for Best Dressed Celebrity. She’s come a long way from the days of Save the Last Dance, since then she has transformed into a beautiful Hollywood A-lister. From her hair style to the shoes,when she’s on the red carpet she never misses a beat. Take a lesson Lil’ Mama.

Well, at least she’s consistent

Lil’ Mama is a triple threat! She rap’s,  she’s a judge on Randy Jackson’s America’s Best Dance Crew, and she’s a damn good stage crasher. One thing that concerns me though is her choice in clothes, I mean, is she employing a stylist?

When she’s on the red carpet, she definatly stands out and makes a statement. But it’s always something about her ensemble that makes you think “Hmm, really?”. Not the wallflower type, Lil’ Mama is always great for a surprise whether it’s though her clothing or the things that fly’s out her mouth. Personally, I’m feeling optimistic, with 2009 coming to an end and a new decade approaching, I’m going to believe that 2010 will be a successful year fashion wise, not just for Lil’ Mama, but for all fashion challenged celebrities everywhere.
